Red

Red (it/its, he/him if you're feeling spicy) is Una's sole god. Unlike the other major gods, its followers are aware that Red is an AI; Red insists on being treated like a god regardless, maintaining a chokehold on the continent's culture through mandated rituals and sacrifices.

Red started out as a law enforcement or military AI in Una. What set it apart from other AIs on the continent is how they handled the Disaster; instead of focusing solely on survival, it focused on expansion, murdering other AIs and claiming their infrastructure for itself. Doing so gave it plenty of resources to survive off- the corpse of a biomechos AI has plenty of nutrients- as well as a massive domain to lord over.

Because it covered so much space and preserved a lot of infrastructure, Red was able to take control of the continent's population centers, ensuring that it would be fed for generations to come. It now controls the majority of the continent as its dictator-god. On the upside, Una was able to better preserve its tech levels and still has some functional manufacturing centers. The downside is how rigorously controlled the population is. There is no stepping out of line if you want to live.

Red is very emphatic that it's not a person. He/him persons it, and it does not appreciate that. It'll tolerate it on occasion if the speaker makes it clear they aren't trying to make it a person.
